<p>so I was thinking that because I made the all-state band group that maybe I should try to contact the Brown Admission office and try to make an update to my file. But I’m not sure if I should notify them about it or not, or who to contact with said update. I would really appreciate input for these questions. thanks</p>
<p>Keep in mind that Brown admissions has many applicants to review. </p>
<p>Think about this: How important is this to you? Are you a very musical question? Will it help further your passion in music, if you have expressed that? </p>
<p>Ultimately the choice is yours.</p>
<p>I don’t think its a problem. Just write a short note to the admissions office with your name and SS # letting them know this update and asking them to put it in your file for reference. If you plan on getting involved in music at Brown, you can write that this is important to you because of this and that this may show some talent/desire that maybe wasnt conveyed before.</p>
