I had a Columbia tab and Princeton tab open on my computer and instead of uploading the “Dear Columbia Admissions Committee” essay to Columbia, I accidentally uploaded it to Princeton:(:(
Are my chances completely out the door now? I totally screwed up and am freaking out right now!

Don’t worry about it. I accidentally sent an update letter that was addressed to Harvard to Princeton. No biggie. Just upload a revised version.
No, you won’t be alone, and colleges are guilty of doing similar things–sending everyone they hope will apply the same form letter. They understand. No biggie. It won’t be the deciding factor.

It shouldn’t be a problem unless your Dear Columbia letter focused on how much you despise Princeton.
