On their site it says:
Nonresidents must have at least a 2.5 grade-point average and either a composite ACT score of 21 or a combined Math and Critical Reading SAT score of 990.

yea thats what i said. 2.5 and a 21 on ACT to get in. I wont be going there…but i visited the campus in February. Some parts seem a little depressing because all the trees have no leaves and it seems a little run down and its very rural. However the main campus has a great feel and the rec center is state of the art. The buildings are constructed well and are pretty nice The downtown area has a very warm feeling to it and has tons of bars and little shops. Great school spirit…everyone there was wearing a WVU sweatshirt or t-shirt. Everyone was pretty friendly. WVU is consistly ranked amongst the top party schools so it seems like its a pretty good time down there

WVU is great but in terms of their admissions process it goes something like this 1)does applicant breath 2) does applicant have sufficient funds to pay tuition and 3) do they meet the requirements.
