<p>UC doesn't consider race when determining decisions. Proposition 209 made sure that race does not come into consideration in admission decisions.</p>

<p>I had a 3.8 UC GPA with really rigorous classes and got in for Fall (applied EECS) even though I was ORM.</p>
<p>It's probably the unique ECs (though not too much), or my scores (which weren't too far from the middle 50%), but I wouldn't give up hope.</p>
<p>Just keep working and hope for the best. With your hispanic status, you're probably "match".</p>

& my test scores were horrible/avg/pretty good.</p>
