Just let me know what you think!

bumppp 10 char

kind of hard to chance without SATs, but your ECs look good. Try to get the UW GPA up, but other than that, you should have a decent chance at least (assuming good SAT).

Looks like you’re on the right track, especially with all the EC’s. Make sure there’s one EC you can focus on, at least for your application essay and such. Tough to say anything about chances until you’ve got your scores though - unfortunately those test scores are important :</p>

THEAjay89: I’m definitely trying to get my uw gpa up and next year I’m going to be taking a very very rigorous courseload so I hope they take that into consideration (taking classes at UNC-CH)!

Don_Quixote: I think Amnesty International is probably my main ec, because we do lots of service work every week and i’m the founder/co-president  I hope to get at least a 2000 on the SAT and 650+ on the SAT subject tests

I’m showing lots of interest in WashU (which I know is important) and I hope my uw gpa doesn’t hurt me too bad!

Any other thoughts?

With a 2000 it will be pretty tough to get into WashU. You should probably be aiming for the 2150+ range.

yea i mean at least a 2000, but hopefully a lot higher

Ok, yeah to have been a founder/co-pres for Amnesty International sounds like a good focus for your varied EC’s. You might try the ACT if you’re not happy with your SAT score, as Wustl does give some weight to that as well. Good job so far, and best of luck next year!

thank you!

any other thoughts?

I agree with the others’ comments. You seem to be going in the right direction, make sure you perfect your essay and have plenty of trustworthy individuals proof read it. Seeing this year and the past year’s applicant pool, not much was between an acceptance and a rejection.

Applying ED significantly helps too but I’m not sure you would want to make such a commitment considering your location. You have some great schools like Duke and UNC Chapel Hill. Honestly, if I was in your position I’d probably rank both of those ahead of WashU because I place great value on location and there isn’t much of a drop off(if any) with those schools.

i’m planning on applying to unc-ch and if i got in i would def. consider going. I really like WashU and figure that there’s no real harm in applying, esp. if I would consider going there if I got in! I’m pretty sure I won’t apply ED to WashU, but I’m hoping that a full-pay applicant will help a little.
