Have seen older threads about TMT bus transport from FSU to South Florida. Wondering if anyone has had recent experience with this company.

Based on my 5 or 6 trips from SFL to Tally and Tally to SFL, i would rate them a 3.5/5.0

The first few trips were ok and went without a hitch. In the next few, i started seeing problems. The bus that was supposed to go from Pompano to Tally never showed up and the bus that DID show up 1 hour later had a broken AC. So we had to wait for another bus which took another 1.5 hours to arrive. Overall that was probably the worst trip.

Their service is decent but some of the people who run the service do seem to show some attitude when asked why there were problems with the bus ride.

Oh and the WIFI Myth has been confirmed. There is wifi on SOME of the buses BUT after a little while of using the wifi, it somehow gets disconnected and never seems to connect again because of a low signal (even in the front of the bus).

There are some new buses but the majority of them are old.

3.5/5

hope that helped,

I will tell you this- Greyhound is absolutely frightening.

I took a Greyhound bus so I could drive back with my daughter and I saw the sketchiest people in the world on the darn bus.

I stayed awake all night long and hung onto my purse.

Very scary.

If you are talking security wise, then TMT is the best option because as the above poster said, Greyhound is UBER scary.

UBER.

My high school age son went up to visit his brother in Tally for Spring Break and came home on TMT Transport. It worked out fine. Glad they provide this service.

Remember those “scary” people on the Greyhounds buy lottery tickets that pay for your Bright Futures Scholarship. Be nice to them.
