I posted here before, but I wanted to update the stats. Please chance and I'm applying for chemical engineering.

AHH! I’m so impatient! How can I improve my chances? Cooper Union has met all of my wants in a school ( small school, urban area, etc.).

290 views? Yet no response? Makes me SAD

I don’t really have any experience to chance anyone but seeing how I have 2 friends that are highly interested in applying to Cooper Union in 2 years, I can share some of their stats and you can try to compare.
Both only take honors and AP classes and get atleast 90’s in all of them. One of them scored a 215 on the PSAT as a freshman and the other a 204 this year as a sophomore. The one with the higher PSAT score is going to a summer research program that takes place in the Cooper Union and after that he has an internship with a professor. Besides science olympiad, none have anyother STEM related ECs which I think is a weak spot if you are applying to a school like CU.
Well I hope I helped and if not it, I atleast bummed your topic

then is there a way to improve my chances? Considering how I’m still a sophomore…

Any other people… Hello?

Do well on SAT, Try and raise GPA through Honors/AP classes. I would try and show some interest in STEM somehow (club, research/intern, Olympiad…). I am also interested in CU (HS class 2013) because of their Full tuition payment on acceptance, but I read they are in a lot of financial trouble and may require students to pay tuition (50/50 on either freshman or graduates). Anyways I’d keep and eye out for this because then it becomes like $50,000.

Thanks.

I’ll be interning next year. And my SAT is already soaring :). Just took a test and now it’s around 2200!

And keep me posted about the tuition!
