FYI BS Parents- The Big Patagonia online & in stores sale is still on and will end 8/24/15 … Free shipping on orders over $75.00. Woohoo.
Sitting at my husband’s desk surrounded by computer screens… one would think I was doing important work.

I got a great gift set for my 3 kiddos from www.stickerkid.com so far they still hold and they are super adorable. My kids love them because they’re cute and me because I can label everything!
I got the labels from
http://www.mabelslabels.com/
I ordered labels from somewhere, but ended up with a “screw it” attitude and used a sharpie. OK, two. Black for light colored stuff and silver for dark stuff.
Can I bump this even though it says 2014?
My son has been an athletic pants kind of guy up until now.
He is happy with his khakis and button downs and he has one nice suit.
What do you suggest for a sports coat and slacks look? And where do you suggest purchasing it?
Also, another vote for Mabels Labels!
Navy blue blazer and khakis/chinos. Surprisingly, we found the best deal on a quality blazer at Norstroms.
We did our shopping at a K&G Fashion Superstore. If you want navy, probably not the best place to go. I think we got four or five blazers, five pair of khakis, 6 shirt/tie sets, and 2 pair of shoes for less than $500. The clothing is designer brands (maybe not the most trendy designers…) and has held up well. I don’t want to sink a lot of money into clothing, because, well, his pants that were slightly too long at the beginning of the year are now ankle pants, and he’s gained 30 pounds of muscle, mostly in his upper body, so I imagine we’ll have to get new sport coats and shirts next year, too. Oh, and he went to school without a navy blazer, begged for me to send his for about the first month (which I finally did), and has only worn it maybe twice. He much prefers his silver one or his black and white hounds tooth one.
I have never heard of K&G, but it turns out there are some near us. I will have to look into it!
I completely agree with these growing boys!
I need some socks help! My son is 13 with a size 13 shoe. I have tried some many pairs of socks and they tend to get tight and be hard to put on. I want a pair that is cotton but has some stretch so he doesn’t have to fight with them. It should go without saying that I don’t want to spend too much. (Nothing that constricts). Any ideas?
@sadieshadow Maybe something like this? I know many manufacturers make extended sizes. http://www.goldtoe.com/categories/GoldToe/Men/Socks/Style/Extended/
Smart not to pay much as boys are rough on socks. Half will get lost and the rest will get grungy. Best to limit the styles so when some go missing, wherever missing socks go to, he can partner up the remainders.
