Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think most or all decisions have been finalized and now they’re working on financial aid packages. (Gibby, did you say this? I can’t find it quickly.)

Not really useful at this point. It’s 11 days before decisions come out. Almost every decision has been made, and as exultationsy noted, they’re just working on financial aid stuff at this point.

to respectfully disagree with both people above – i both spoke with an officer on the phone earlier today and asked 2 of my sister’s friends who’ve worked in admissions and they keep finalizing decisions until literally the day before they’re mailed. it even says right on the admissions website that they change decisions up until the last day since they’re always getting new information on students. of course it’s a tiny minority and most fin aid packages will be prepared starting in a couple days but they look at everything. i doubt this award will make a difference (or that my update will) but that doesn’t mean they won’t look at it. do as you wish

According to this video, which was made in 2011, William Fitzsimmons is quoted as saying the full committee met that year from March 1st until March 19th. Once those committee meetings are done, a list of accepted students is sent to the Financial Aid Office so FA can be calculated and sent to each student along with their acceptance letter. I imagine though if an update arrived after March 19th (or thereabouts), a student’s file could be reopened – and if the update was significant, it could change a rejection/deferral into an acceptance.
