Havent heard any updates on the national news about Matthew Wilson due to the increased media coverage of the presidential primaries. Have the police gotten any new leads... hopefully they havent given up on him?

There was an article in the Thresher that said that RUPD has concluded that he most likely left of his own accord. Reasons for believing this are that he withdrew a large amount of money shortly before disappearing, he purchased camping equipment, and he used his debit card (with pin required) at a gas station after his departure. Nevertheless, there are still "Missing/Reward" posters around campus and people are still concerned and want him to return safely. I'm sure RUPD and HPD haven't stopped their searches yet.

^^^ His vehicle was found in Berkeley a few days ago. they said it is dusty and hs some mold in it, so has probaly been there for quite some time. If you go to the website ($20,000 Reward offered for the safe return of Matthew Wilson I believe is the link) there is more information with updates.

OOohh, this is kinda spooky. If you go to google maps and put in the street address where they found the car, 1268 Allston Way, you can see his car. I believe it is the silver one in front of the red car, not behind it. Doesn't it look like a green Rice parking decal in the back left of the rear window?

I'm not usually one to wear the tinfoil hat, jym, but that car does look an awful lot like a Dodge Neon. I'm not seeing the green parking sticker, though.

Hi NYskins-
You have to rotate the picture around a bit-- you will see the decal but for some reason it isn't visible from all angles. The fact that this picture is of his car was posted on his website, so I am taking that as credible.

its seems almost obvious now that he ran away on his own accord
