No. You needn’t send them again. They may take up to 7 business days to update and finally include it. Then, you will get an email acknowledgement that your update has been received and has been included with your file.

I got my reply after 8 days…

Oh gosh I sent mine like last week and they haven’t replied too… Not planning to resend though, it probably takes time

The last two updates that I sent to Princeton were via USPS. Should I have sent them an email instead? And if so, to what address?

I didn’t receive any digital replies but they were confirmed as being “Delivered”, and had all of my pertinent information.

Bump 10 char

hmmm idk… I sent an update to the general admissions email, and they got back to me that day, confirming that they will add the material to my file… i would send an email just letting admissions know that you sent supp. material.

Really? I have sent 3 updates via email and never heard back, so I decided to fax them to the admission office. What email address did you send your update to?

@JaguarFan

I’m assuming that message was for me? Anyways, I sent my email to uaoffice@princeton.edu and a specific representative emailed me back.

@nondairycreamer, thanks. And yes the message was for you.

Uhmm, very strange. It was the same email address I used as well. I sent 3 emails with 3 different new accomplishments over a span of 3-4 weeks. I never heard back from them. Did you apply RD or SCEA? I was SCEA deferred.

@JaguarFan

Lol okay good. That is strange. I applied RD, I sent the email in the middle of last month. Maybe you should send an email asking to confirm they got the materials. If you didn’t get any response, that raises a red flag.

Good luck!!! If they don’t answer your email, try calling.

@nondairycreamer, thanks again.

Princeton is not alone. Columbia, Yale, Duke and Harvard all are like that - they don’t respond to email updates, and do not notify me of updates received via fax. Is it me, or they are too busy to respond? I hope it is the latter.

JaguarFan, although I get replies from P whenever I sent them updates, I do not think it is of any significance. You must understand that there are several people surfing through incoming mails, some reply, some dont- no biggie.

And I hardly think getting a notification on your update is a clue to how much Princeton ‘values’ you or if its an insight into your admissions chances, I think P has much bigger things to tackle atm than decide whose emails are worthy replying to, and whose are not ;)
