<p>It's getting late for this year's MT candidates, but here's the question. Is it helpful and advisable--or not--to email updates to a student's file. I'm thinking of recent acting awards, singing competitions, or such. Do any of you experienced parents, students, or coaches have any advice to give?</p>
<p>It is on the late side but not too late at some schools that have not rendered decisions. I am in favor of sending updates if you have a few new things to report since the time you sent in the application. I would typically do this by February. But as it is just March 2, I would suggest that it may be possible (and you have nothing to lose) but I would opt for using email for this purpose at this point.</p>
