Updating Brown for ED

I was recently published in a modest magazine for under 17s. I selected Literary Arts as my first area of interest, so I think I should let them know about this. Should I contact Brown or should my GC send extra data in? Also, who should it be e-mailed to? Thanks in advance.

I forgot, I also have another question! Not much to do about it now since I submitted already, but I was wondering, because there are 3 slots for dates you took the SATs on the Common App, is there no distinction between taking the SAT 3 times and, say, 7? I filled in all three slots. Will they suspect now that I may have taken it five or six times, or will they pay no attention?

They’ll only pay attention to whatever you sent in your score report really. (Brown is a score-choice school)

Sorry… if it wasn’t obvious I was ONLY referring to the second portion of your post :P

I’m not sure, I believe it’s to late to contact them to include that ED—they’re probably reading apps as we speak (type). However, if you are deferred—though I really hope you’re accepted—I would definitely mention it in an update letter.

Good luck!

Thanks for your replies! I think I’ll just leave it - it all comes down to fate anyway, right?
