Updating CSS PROFILE

I originally sent in the CSS PROFILE online in October 2005 with estimated values for 2005 for early action. I understand for all my other colleges, after I get the new tax returns, I have to print out a copy and make the changes by hand. So can I just send in the updated paper copies for my other colleges and be done with it, or do I have to also submit an online copy to them also? (so far I've only submitted to my early action college)

The online submission also seems to be pretty expensive at $18/school too...

bump - 10 char

why can't you just e-mail and ask them what to send? also, did your schools say they need a paper copy?

I originally submitted the CSS PROFILE in Oct 2005 with estimated incomes for 2005. For some inane reason, you can't update the CSS PROFILE online, you have to update it by paper. So I was wondering if I only have to submit the paper copy to my other colleges?

try calling the colleges

I believe the first submission of the Profile to EACH college has to be sent through them...even if it is an estimate. We are in the same position. Let's put it this way....if we send the one we did in November to to the other school now, it will not have that other school even LISTED on it. So...yes...you pay the CB for your inaccurate estimate and then you write in the on the paper the accurate numbers when you have them. I personally think it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever needed to do. I'm basically paying the CB for nothing...but what else is new???
