Back in December, I did my housing and got a priority number of around late 700s. I had put that I want my housing/dorms to be my preference (not my roommate) but my friend ended up putting Wildwood as his first option as well and we now want to room together but his priority number is in the 2000s. Is it possible for us to update our housing apps and add eachother as "roommates" while still keeping our dorm halls as our main preference? I dont want to risk getting his priority number by putting roommate as my preference over hall (I really want Wildwood). And If I update my housing willl that cause my priority number to change regardless?

You get to pick whether you want the dorm to be the priority or your roommate. You cannot get both.

The easiest way would be for you to both put Wildwood as your first choice, and when you are both assigned to the hall, to contact the hall staff about moving in together.

You can update your housing app any time until May 1 without losing your priority number, as long as you have paid the deposit within 10 days as specified and (if under 18) filled out the parent signature page.

Good luck getting Wildwood though with a priority number that high (2000s).

Mine is in the 700s so I should be fine?

For Wildwood? I think you’d be fine. People have posted that last year, priority numbers as high as like 1300 were still getting into Wildwood.

My son got into Wildwood with a mid-1300. He even got a late invite to Landis.
