Updating Information?

Hey there!

I just have a question regarding updating information for colleges.
My science club, of which I'm the captain, recently placed 1st in the division(which never happened before ever in our school's history) and I've personally placed in the
top 6 in the regional brain bee competition, and I would like to mention this somehow to the colleges I'm applying.

I know that U of Chicago provides students to update any additional information, but for all the other schools, should I mail them with the updated resume containing these pieces of information? Or, would it be better to get a recommendation letter from my science coach? I'm sure she would be willing to write about how inspiring the team was this year, considering we have some individuals with autism and learning disorder work hard to place first in the division competition.

Any input is greately appreciated!

Please help!

Anyone willing to help out?

The thing is, I don’t know whether I should write a formal letter with the descriptions of new achievements and awards or just a updated list of the achievements.

If anyone has ideas, please share!!!
