Updating the summer programs

<p>So I took the ACT with my school as part of a state-wide assessment and got a 36. I also took the Chem Oly regional exam and got an honorable mention.</p>

<p>So should I update the programs on this? That is, will it help me in the admissions? Keep in mind that although I did apply to a couple national-level programs (HSHSP, Clark) I also applied to a more local program at a state flagship that only take kids from the surrounding area. Would my course of action differ between HSHSP, Clark and the local program I'm talking about?</p>

<p>And if I should update them, how do I do it?</p>

<p>Yes, you should update the programs. As for how to do it, I’m sure you can be resourceful and check the websites and/or call or email the programs to ask how it is done.</p>

<p>Yeah, I’ll probably email but how should I phrase the email? I don’t want to come across and say, “Hey, look at me! I’m so awesome! etc. etc.” because it’ll ruin me on the spot. </p>
