Sure thing. I’m applying ED (well, I’ve actually already sent in my application  ). My intended major is PPE (Philosohpy, Politics, and Economics) within the College of Arts and Sciences and perhaps a double minor in Mediterranean Archaeology and Legal Studies & History. Here are my stats: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-pennsylvania/1815497-chance-me-ed-to-college-of-arts-and-sciences.html#latest

Oh, I guess the one other important thing is I’m a legacy applicant.

Good luck to everyone posting out here!

Definite ED Vagelos LSM Dual Degree Program (takes only 25 kids… RIP),
May do CAS as the single choice (still thinking about it)

haven’t finished my application, but good luck to everyone!

I got (lower than expected) a score of 770 in Math II subject test. Wondering if this would help my ED app to Wharton?

Thanks & good luck, everybody!

Good luck to you too @shivaya ! Although 770 isn’t ideal for Math II, I don’t think it could necessarily hurt your application. (Just keep in mind that there are other applicants that have 800s, but at the end of the day, standardized test scores are simply a number anyway. If you have good grades in hard math classes, I’m sure that will offset it).

Applying ED CAS but I’m so scared because my GPA is definitely on the low side for Penn… hopefully my ECs, test scores, and essays will make up for it!!

Thank you @shadyconcepts

Wondering if anyone may have a copy of the uPenn ED agreement. If you do, please share. I forgot to save before submission of the application.

@sillyface Wow, another Scholastic Arts and Writing winner applying ED to Penn??
I’m also interested in biology, but I’m applying to SEAS as a Bioengineering major. holy crap, we have like the same stats- I got a 780 on Bio M too and I’m also a national merit semi-finalist…

ugh, does anyone know if Penn accepts SAT score reports past the November 1 deadline? CollegeBoard is having issues getting all the score reports sent out on time, and even though I ordered mine October 11 it still says “scores are pending”. I mean I figured Penn has more of a leeway with score reports than, say, UMich, since Penn also accepts scores from the November session for ED applicants. But, you know… just to be on the safe side…

@jasli98 wow that’s a crazy coincidence, especially that bioM score :stuck_out_tongue: here’s to hoping Penn needs a lot of Scholastic winners!!
Also, I’m pretty sure your score reports are fine because they take reports from November test date that are wayy after November 1. You could still call admissions office or email them just to make sure

Wow this feels really late to the party, but…
