Just a thread for us waitlisted-ers to talk. Anyone see the reply link mentioned in the FAQ?
Hey
I saw it and decided to take the offer.
But I can’t seem to find the place to upload 1 document that sheds new light to the application.
@confusedsenior28 where did you see the option to take the offer?
Waitlisted, but I’m pretty happy - definitely better than a flat out rejection!
@Penn1248 You have to go out of the letter and back to the home page of your portal. Scroll down then it will appear.
I got rejected from NYU Stern and Cornell. Waitlisted at Penn. Very very happy. I will be enrolling in either USC or BU.
Does anyone know the acceptance rate of the waitlist by any chance?
@confusedsenior28 I read somewhere that it’s between 3%-8%
@Penn1248 Oh shit!
Guys, my total average went from straight As on every course to an A- this term due to a new system being implemented. Do you think that if I explain what is happening, they will understand and not let it affect me?
Hey guys! Waitlisted as well, but confused. My first choice was the M&T program. Does that mean I’m waitlisted for M&T or one of my other choices?
Waitlisted at Duke, Notre Dame and now Penn. If the waitlist doesn’t work out I will be going to ucf.
@nolanconcepts waitlisted at duke as well… But I guess a wl is much better than a rejection
@portlandBlazer I think it means that you were waitlisted from your single-choice school and rejected from M&T.
waitlisted at Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Penn omg
Hey guys I have also been waitlisted by Penn. What do you think we should include in that one document which should shed new light on our application? If we play our cards right we might be able to get off the waitlist!
I got into Columbia, so this waitlist is really just for kicks because I spent money on my app. Best of luck to the rest of you! I’m just going to include some awards.
Hey if you’re doing this just for the “kicks” can you please decline your spot to make space for the rest of us waitlisters
I’m hoping that yield somehow decreases due to the lack of likely letters sent out this year (doubt it thought).
Wailisted at wharton. This was my #1 school, but also accepted at dartmouth so I can’t complain.
Anyone know the odds/statistics about getting off the waitlist for Wharton?
Do you know what we should include in that document which is aimed at “shedding new light” on our application?
