“Thank you for your continued interest in Penn. While we are unable to offer you a place in the class at this time, it is possible that a few spots will become available in the next few weeks. We are reaching out to you to inquire about your continued interest in remaining on the wait list. While you may be highly interested in attending Penn if spaces become available, we also understand that you may have already confirmed your plans for next year and are no longer interested in remaining on the wait list.”
got the rejection letter too
rejected.
@mysterygirl21 are you going to send another waitlist update now?
@IHateAppsXXX I actually didn’t send an update last time so yeah I’ll be sending an update this time if they will still let me:)
I also got put onto the extended waitlist, but do you guys think I can send another update to my regional officer even though I sent in an update already? I accepted the position, but it doesn’t seem as if there’s another opening to send in updates.
I got extended waitlist
They sent an email saying that it has been finalized, so how do some of you have an ‘extended waitlist’?
@layanstar1 they said in the email thag although they cannot offer admission at the moment, they might be accepting more in the next few weeks. There is a link to the penn portal in which you can click “yes” to stay on waitlist or “no”
They already filled the entire class. Any opening will be created by few students who get accepted to the late WL of other schools, and those who decide to take a gap year,
If I got off the waitlist for Brown and only have until June 2nd to decide, should I let the Penn Admissions Office know?
@Y2JRedskins Congrats!! I think you should let the Penn Admissions Office know (especially if you will decide to ultimately go to Brown) but even if you don’t really want to accept the position, I think you should let the Penn Admissions Office know that you will be highly considering it, but Penn is still your first choice (maybe something like that)
@Y2JRedskins Ohhhh, you said If haha, just realized that
Do not tell Penn admissions know about Brown if you remain interested in Penn. They don’t care, and it isn’t something you should be writing them
@RFrederic no I actually got off the waitlist at Brown haha
@Y2JRedskins Oh haha, well then congrats!!
OMG got off the waitlist at Penn! What do I do now?!
@Y2JRedskins Congrats!!! If Penn is your first choice, then make sure you click “accept” for the admission offer
@RFrederic Penn was my number 1 choice for quite a while but since Brown accepted me off of the waitlist I’ve kind of grown fond of it. I’m really torn!
Congrats!! That is a tough decision, Brown is an amazing and fun school. What school did you get accepted to in Penn?
