UPenn Chance?? (and others too!)

<p>So this is my first post on CC! woo! Anyway Im going to be a senior now and will be applying to UPenn (Dreamschool!), Yale, Uof M, Wash U, Northwestern, other schools/ivys...not really sure yet.
Please tell me my chances! :)</p>

<p>I'm Indian girl from Michigan - private school. No Legacy (That only works for direct family members right?)</p>

<p>SAT: CR 720, M 800, W 770 (Superscored)
ACT: 35 Essay: 11
SAT II: Chemistry 790, Math II 800
GPA: UW 4.0 - all 3 years
Rank: none but top 10%</p>

<p>APs taken and will be taking: Euro, Calc BC, World Lit, US History, Chem, Shakespeare and Modern Lit, French V, Physics, Biology
All honors everything else except 9th gr regular history, anatomy, org chemistry, health+speech+gov (1 semester req. classes)</p>

<p>Awards
Cum Laude Society (11th gr)<br>
3rd place at Metro Detroit Science Fair (10th g)
TEAMS competition - 1st place (has to do with physics and math)
National Merit Semi Finalist
Maybe AP scholar? not sure yet</p>

<p>Extra curricular:
Lacrosse (V. since 10th) - Academic All-State and Academic All-American
All Tournament Award at Midwest Tournament
Possible captaincy next year
Field Hockey (V. since 11th)
Yearbook club (9th-12th) - Will be editor in chief next year
Violin - learning since kindergarten ---do Federation Festival every year with Superior ratings
Indian Classical Violin - since Kindergarten
Indian Dance - since age 9
Research at Cardiology Dept</p>

<p>Volunteer: Hospital, Nursing Home (10th), Library (9th), Clothes drive for Indian charity, In school open houses and other parent nights, science workshop for K-5 graders at school
Paid Job: Teach music theory at my music school</p>

<p>All of those schools besides U of M are reaches for everybody, but your grades make you a good candidate. Your EC’s are good, but not ivy league good.
U of M: low match
All others: low reaches
Sorry if this wasn’t that helpful, but schools of this caliber are looking for a lot more than just grades, so chancing gets pretty hard and vague. Please chance back!</p>

<p>UM and Wash U you are definitely in at. I would say a match for Northwestern and maybe Cornell. The other schools are reaches or anyone but knowing people who are at UPenn I would say it would be a lower reach for you.</p>
