UPENN Class of 2017 RD

@alexisss it wasn’t at the king & spalding law firm since you’re in atl?

It was via Skype. :O

That is so weird… I know life 15 people that applied to Penn that are in or around Atlanta and all of us got called to the law firm last Saturday for the interview. It’s probably because you’re a transfer.

Ohhh, if it was Saturday I would not have been able to go for religious reasons. I maaay have mentioned that? Can’t remember. xD I don’t even think my interviewer lives here. :O

I’m applying as a freshie. :3

How’d your interview go?

Ahh just got contacted for an interview :stuck_out_tongue:
He seems nice and laid-back from why I read. I’m excited :slight_smile:
Last interview because it’s the last US school I applied to. Thankfully I was able to get one from each school :)

No interviews for me at all for any of the universities I applied to, which is a shame.

Maxyend, don’t think like that dude… I didn’t get any interviews either… though only three of the universities, out of 12 I applied to, ever required interview…

UPenn, one of its Co-Ivyleaguer didn’t give me any interview… and I am an international student… So I suppose that is nearly curtains down for me…

@alexiss it was pretty awkward but it went okay. i don’t think it will help or harm.

Don’t worry about not having an interview. It is not determinitive. My son got in ED for class of 2017 and never had an interview.

@sanguinee
I’m glad it didn’t go horribly! It’s a shame the interviews don’t have much influence, though. T_T

I know… my interviewer was super awk so I’m kinda glad it didn’t have influence on my application… I mean it didn’t go badly but it was just weird. All my other alum interviews went great though.

Yeah, my u of chi one was awkward, lol. Know that feel.

I’m glad the other ones were great! I actually love doing interviews for some reason. I like being able to fully explain myself and show passion. ~>_<~

Has anyone in the NY/NJ area received an interview call/e-mail recently?

@alexiss lol that’s good. mine have all been pretty laid back and good as well.

@sanguinee

Yay! ^▁^

My daughter was contacted Wednesday for an interview. She felt bad that she could not make the time the interviewer suggested, but he was very nice about arranging another time. They did it all through email. We are in NJ

My interview went fine, although it wasn’t fantastic because my interviewer and I had nothing in common, other than attending the same high school (he was a STEM major and I’m into languages). It wasn’t my best interview (that was Rice, which was conducted by a French major), but it was a pleasant experience. I’ve done interviews for Georgetown (required), Rice (optional), Swarthmore (optional), and Penn (I guess it was required once I got selected to be interviewed?), and now I’m in the midst of setting up an interview for Tufts.

Getting closer guys! A bit over a month :slight_smile: My Penn Portal said this:

In preparation for the March 28 release of their admission decision, Regular Decision applicants are no longer able to track the status of their application materials. Effective Monday, February 25, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. E.D.T. Had a required document been missing from your application, we would have contacted you.

Almost there!!!

Thanks momto3girlz! There is still a possibility that I will receive one then :)

@penguin20 - Just saw that!! Beginning to freak out now itself!! :p

But between now and then, I have my 12th final exams!! :/
