Oh that’s a good idea.

Uhm, I’d probably say my common app essay. Or maybe my test scores… I dunno really.

College3399- same for me

I’d say my test scores, essays, and ECs

Probably EC’s and essays. Did anyone go as far as looking up rooming options and deciding which rooming situation you prefer best? I feel like I shouldn’t be going deep into rooming until I’m accepted somewhere (if I’m accepted, that is)

I’d say my essays, recs, ECs, and pity.

Crazy that December 16 at 5:00 we will learn a decision that will change the course of our entire life…

^ A large percentage are deferred.

I try not to think about d day but when I do I’m hit with a wave of anxiety :(. I will literally be heartbroken if I don’t make it. Penn is my dream school ugh.

When you go on the portal, is your name in red? I am wondering if the color has any significance.

My name is in red as well. I don’t think it has any significant meaning.

Check post #278
from King2567
That’s what got me a little nervous!

The red heading in that thread is chosen by a rejected student once they receive their decision. It has nothing to do with your name in the portal haha

Just would like to inform everyone that I just got accepted into UPenn through the QuestBridge National College Match! I’m so psyched!

:) Congratulations!!! I’m just wondering, how were you notified?

I was notified through the QuestBridge website before actually being confirmed through e-mail by the Dean of Admissions. It was a really brief, but chilling acceptance!

congratulations cirrandir. How many QB students are accepted to Penn?

According to their statistics, 23. Over 12,000 applicants applied, and only 440 were matched to the 35 partner school. Crunching some numbers, the probability is quite intriguing.

It is good to hear Penn accepting 23 QB students in the ED round.

Sounds like you are done!

so QB kids get full ride to Penn? And they already know their admissions result?

Should depend on Penn financial policies and financial status of selected candidates whether everyone gets a full ride.

Sounds like ED results for QB applicants are done.

There was a poster today who also mentioned receiving a likely letter but deleted the post.
