Any international applicants here see in common app an extension for RD deadline to Jan 13th?? I don’t see it anywhere else, like on the website. Only on common app dashboard.

Anyone waiting for the interview? Application submitted in mid-December, still waiting.
Daughter is also waiting

Got an interview from U pen for this weekend.
As interviews get underway, it might be helpful to review What Penn Looks for in Interviews.
Has anyone heard of or seen Burmese (Myanmar) Students getting accepted to UPenn?
Just had the interview today with an alumni graduated in the 1980s, it was quite agitating, the person was old and literally had no facial expressions, no feelings, no comments or whatsoever at all. It was quite tense. Im not sure if this interview will increase or reduce my chances into UPenn.
You need to thank your lucky stars you got an interview
About 90% of applicants got the interview, so it’s not that surprising.
Typically, 90% of applicants are offered an interview. This is not a typical year. Penn had a record breaking 59,000+ applicants this cycle. Alumni interviewers volunteer their time and it’s unlikely there will be enough volunteers for every applicant. So, yes, you should feel lucky to have been offered an interview. Sorry to hear your interview was disappointing.
As far as Burmese students accepted to Penn, I couldn’t find any specific data. In general, international students from over 100 countries comprise 13% of the Penn student body. You can reach out directly to International Student & Scholar Services for more information. In my experience, the people answering the phones are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Best of luck to you.
Thank you. Appreciate your response.
Are you sure about 90% number this year? Any source to confirm this number??
The 90% figure comes from Penn’s website that I linked to upthread. As usual, interview offers are subject to alumni availability.
Thank you! But I was asking @Hierophant1 for the source.
It appears everyone is quoting the % from previous years.
