Upenn decisions coming after other ivies?

http://www.admissionsug.upenn.edu/applying/timetable.php

On the above link, it states that penn is releasing decision to RD applicants on 4th April. but yale, harvard and i think all the other ivies are releasing decisions on 31st march. dont the ivies have an agreement where they must release decisions on the same date?

Thats when the decision will be mailed to your house. It will be released online tomm at 5 pm.

don't worry, decisions will be online at 5pm tomorrow.. Decisions are also being mailed tomorrow, but they'll probably not get to you till monday

what if you live in philly? how soon should you expect the mail?

1 day. I checked <a href="http://www.usps.com%5B/url%5D">www.usps.com</a>.</p>

how do you track a decision letter from usps?

Hmm... I find out about my Mayors Scholarship this week. I'll probably get it on Friday or Saturday, assuming they mail it on the thirtyfirst.

I remember when I got in ED I got a packet of stuff a few days later, and I'm only 10 miles from Penn.

chocoman .... did you get any confirmation or anything that they received your mayor's app?

i applied for the mayors scholarship too and i have not receieved any confirmation

cool. glad i wasnt the only one.

I need the Mayor's scholarship. NEED.

trust me....you're not the only one. do we automatically get it? i mean, what's the selection process like? they didn't share a lot of details about the program...so im really confused.

Is Penn punctual with puting the decisions online? Do they put the decisions up at exactly 5pm?

err....are all the ivies releasin at 5 pm??
2 rejectns in a span of 5 min....
thnk god mit rejected me weeks ago :D

where's the site to check your status again?

The decisions won't be up at 4:59.

But at 5:00 they'll be up.

As for the mayors scholarship, they give out like 40 of them. A friend of mine claims that she is the only philadelphian she knows that didn't get it, so...

the site will probly crash just so you're all aware, and it's also possible that penn might do what brown is doing, which is a staggered relase.

i.e. Brown is not releasing everyone's decision at once, they sent out e-mails the other week telling you what time to check. For me it's 6, i saw other people on the board mentioning that they had to wait untill 6:30, or 7, or 7:30.

Anyway, i would advise not trying to go on at 5pm, it's probly not gonna work, and you're just gonna go crazy.

Well, I mean..other college's sites worked when they released their decisions. For instance, Duke. They opened up at 7 pm for everyone and although it was a little slow at first, it really wasn't bad. So, I don't think it'll really matter too much. I would think that they'd just do it all at once like some of the other schools (ie. Duke) for convenience.

so what's the site to check it at again?
