UPenn: Easier to transfer into Engineering or CAS

I remember reading that Penn's transfer acceptance rate last year was about 13%. I know that Wharton is exceptionally difficult, but I don't know if Engineering is of above average or below average difficulty. Does anyone have information to that effect?

depends on ur major in the CAS

I’m going to try to transfer into the school of engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I will be a junior next year. My GPA is above a 3.8, my SAT is a 2170, and I have pretty good ECs/Leadership.

I’m curious about the percent admitted because I want to make sure that I am balancing my targets and reaches correctly.

Ease of acceptance is immaterial: Would you be happier with an engineering degree or one from the college?

Wayward Trojan,

I phrased my question poorly. I’m not interested in going to CAS, but if Penn Engineering was significantly more difficult to get into than CAS, then I would have to consider viewing Penn as a reach school and not a target. I want to ensure that I am applying to a good balance of schools, not just reaches.
