Guys, anyone knows if CAS and Wharton applicants are in the same pool?
Well… this is not the time to share stats exactly because my anxiety is running so damn high I can’t think properly.
Anyways I applied test-optional. What about you?
Expect for that I was first in my school, and have good ECs according to Indian standards, all else— well essays, according to me, are quite good.
What about you? @silentccreader
8 hours !!!
From what I’ve heard, that is not the case. Rest we’ll know at 7PM EST
Let’s goooo, good luck all!
Same to you!
I applied finance to Wharton. I’m a white male, 35 ACT, 4.0 GPA, great essays, good ECs, good LORs. For anyone wondering, CAS and Wharton (and the other schools too) are sort of in the same pool. Unlike many schools, Penn does not have a separate admissions team for each school, so all applications are read by the same people. However, Wharton is only judged against other Wharton applications, while CAS is only judged against other CAS applications.
Sameee!!! hope we both get in!
Aye, I’m a Hispanic male with the same stats! These last few hours are going to be a drag.
Good luck everyone! 6.5 more hours… but wherever we end up we’ll make the most of it!! Have faith in the universe
I agree!
Good luck to everyone from a college freshman here! Wish you all the best and hope to see you on campus
Noticed the wording on the portal ED announcement date reminder sent on December 9 said “We have enjoyed getting to know you through this process”. And no request for grade or anything else. Does that sound like good wording to ease the coming rejection?
This is the exact email that every applicant receives. I got the same one. I even know people who applied prior years and got the exact same email.
And they got accepted?
Every single applicant- accepted, deferred, or rejected- gets that email. I think we talked about it earlier in the thread if you want to scroll^^ but the gist of it is that the wording doesn’t matter.
aaah good luck, mine are more or less the same
the anxiety is real you guys.
No matter what happens, you are all brilliant people who will succeed no matter where you go, and whatever school you’ll end up in will be LUCKY to have you. Don’t let this define your self worth b/c u are SO much more than a few pages of an application. Good luck to you all! :))
omg I’m so nervous i feel sick
