UPenn ED 2025

In all honesty, I’m more angry that I didn’t get deferred than I am that I got rejected. I would be fine with getting rejected eventually; Penn is a great school and I’m clearly not the world’s most qualified candidate. I just think that I’m truly a complete applicant who at least deserved to be deferred.

It is my grandfather. He went to Wharton and also was a professor for a bit.

@sisercat strong extra curricular / achievement ?

ah cool.

I feel you man. Don’t have legacy but thought I had a really well-rounded, complete application and my interviewer even said he thought I was a great fit for Penn (I know they don’t read your application). Just sucks it couldn’t have been at least a deferral. Wishing you the best man and hopefully we both get into other extremely good schools!

Well guys it’s been fun. Now that I’ve been rejected I no longer have use for this page. I wish you all the best and just know that we are all gonna do amazing things in life! To the people that got in, congrats and best of luck at Penn next year!! To the people like me who had their dreams crushed, everything’s gonna work out and next year we’ll look back on today with a slight chuckle because of how happy we are at the school we end up at :))

Same for my kid. She was rejected from SEAS, legacy. Not sure if ECs were too weak, or her essays weren’t on target.

Sad thing is, she couldn’t do sports or work due to a disability but darned if she would mention being disabled…

Both my spouse and I think we would not have gotten in this year…

Very interested if they went very diverse by geography - we are near NYC and freshmen year I had 10 of 15 dormmates who were from near NYC or Philly.

PS - she has a 4.0 in two Penn courses that we paid for despite me losing my job, so…didn’t matter that she can succeed at Penn I guess.

What school in Canada and what were the stats.

just wondering, where are you getting this information from?
