My teacher and counselor recs should be good to great.

Essays as well should be approximately a seven or eight out of ten.

How do I look for ED to Penn?

I’m sure you could have predicted it yourself. No real weaknesses, just no real hook. Only hole I can find is make sure you nail your Bio subject test.

You know that UPenn is a crapshoot for everyone, ED or not. All you can do is write some stellar essays, get some solid teacher rec’s, and say a prayer. I give it a 20/80 chance because there are students with much more competitive applications than yours, but I’m no admissions expert. Congrats on the swimming, that sure can’t hurt! Best of luck.

I’m gonna say 50%. Your scores are great but then again you never know with Penn even ED.

I don’t know if this helps, but I’m a White male from the South. My family income is such that I won’t get any financial aid.

You’re a typical qualified Ivy Applicant. You have no weaknesses but no hooks (legacy, URM, etc) so your chance is as good as anyone’s ED.
