Had two interviews today…one lasted for an hour and 15 minutes and the Penn one lasted for 45 minutes.
Here’s a list of questions the Penn interviewer asked me:
Tell me about yourself.
What do you do for fun?
What is your learning style?
Why Penn?
Who was your favorite teacher?
What academic subject do you most like?
And then he asked me his curveball question:
If you were stranded on a desert island, which 3 things would you bring?
It took me a little bit to think about this, but the interviewer seemed to like my answers. But overall, the interviewers were’t very intense. Just act natural and seem happy to be there!
Columbia is closed like Penn…the others are more in the city, but all great schools (not sure about Brown’s campus, I have never been). If you like urban, GW could be a great safer choice.
Schools similar to Penn…Georgetown is technically in the city but it’s really kind of on the outskirts…not really near anything and you still have to walk a bit to M street which is technically where “Georgetown” is…You can walk it, it’s just not right there.
Ann Arbor isn’t really a “city” but it’s a great happening college town surrounded by U of Michigan. It’s a really nice school too.
I’ve applied ED and am having the interview Saturday. I was interested in knowing the social life at Penn. Is there hard party? I’ve tried to look up but can’t find much information. Do any of you have an idea of the social life at Penn?
@Klayyy I’ll post mine as well.
