Not that it means anything but in 2011 the calendar was the same as the 2016 calendar, meaning the the 2nd Friday was the 9th as well. The decisions that year were released on the 9th of December for ED.

@skiing26 Haha, maybe it is! My Calculus AB teacher was the same too. I’m actually really glad I found this forum since there’s only two people from my school applying including me, and I don’t even know who the other person is! It’s a really nice support system, and I love how we’re encouraging each other. 
I literally can’t focus in school anymore, all i think about is decisions and i literally start heaving in the middle of class. This can’t be normal

I promise all the stress and nonstop thinking about penn is normal!!! Don’t worry guys none of us are alone in this, and we are all gonna make it through - acceptance or not. Think of it like tinder, we swiped right on Penn, and if they don’t swipe right back then who needs them!

If you guys think that you have an unhealthy obsession, I applied to Princeton SCEA & am still lurking in YOUR thread!! Hahaha. Even though we’re applying to different schools, I’m facing the same challenges as you all (huge physics test on Friday and I should be studying rn!!!)
While u guys will probably get your date tomorrow, Princeton doesn’t tell its applicants the release date until 2 DAYS (!) before!! Unfair!
@fgomez98 Aw, I really hope you feel better soon! It’s probably all the stress piling up. It doesn’t seem like it right now, but everything seriously will be fine no matter what happens, so keep your head up!

@skiing26 Expanding on your Tinder metaphor, remember that even if Penn doesn’t accept you, it doesn’t mean you’re not smart enough or great enough. You may not be their “ideal date,” but you will be the one for another school!

@fgomez98 I am completely and utterly jealous. I definitely missed the free pins lmao. Their center was 1000x better than any of the others I have seen and the whole atmosphere was so comforting. I live in an extremely conservative town, so it would be awesome to be on Penn’s campus!! What part of the US are you from!?
