Hi guys, QB scholar here. I just got accepted to Duke! QuestBridge does not give you an advantage, but QB finalists do get a full scholarship if matched (like I got matched to Duke). All QB decisions for every college are released 12/1. If you have any other questions about QB, feel free to ask me. Otherwise, I look forward to meeting my fellow Duke class of 2022 members!
The Facebook group is I’m sure mostly not already admitted people… don’t worry about it lol.
per Questbridge, I actually think it’s a lot harder to get in? I know it’s a harsh application process and it’s very competitive.
I would still expect the 15 unless we hear otherwise because of the ED extension for natural disaster areas and the new review process which takes longer than the previous…
I looked at the Penn 2022 facebook page and it looked like ppl who got in last yr were the members…
From what I can tell Penn ED results last year and the year before that came out on Friday, the 2nd week of December. It should either come out on the 8th or probably later. Because ED forms for Questbridge finalists are due the 6th this month.
I just got into Penn through the QuestBridge program. They admitted 56 through QuestBridge college match this year
@NEExtempQueen what program?
The national college match. I was rejected from the huntsman so I got into the college for International Relations
@demetermt I feel like since QB ED forms are due Dec 6, ED decisions have to come out the 3rd week of December, unless admissions is going to make quick decisions for QB ED, which I hope they don’t.
Any political science majors on here?
BTW, I saw that “PreviewingPenn”, Penn’s twitter account, announced the ED release date on 12/5/16. Some people on this post said that Penn announced the date on 12/2/16. Where did you guys see this?
They didn’t. I was here last year. Penn posted on Twitter and sent an email on 12/5 announcing the release date.
@skieurope ok thank you!
@kangaroosrule I’m applying for political science!
I applied PPE but am interested in politics (decided I would benefit from more of an interdisciplinary education).
My interviewer majored in PPE with a concentration in politics, and I thought it sounded like a really, really interesting major! Where is everybody from?
I have a question. I am a Questbridge Finalist, ranked Penn but did not match. I was considering sending in a letter of continued interest to Penn because I’m planning on applying ED, but their website says "
Please note that demonstrated interest in Penn is not a factor in our admissions process. Inquiries to your admission officer are not monitored nor will they impact your admission decision in any way."
Should I still send in the LOCI?
Any news about release date? Hope it’s this Friday, I seriously can’t wait any longer
Another poster on CC called and Penn said the week of the 11th.
Thanks! @Burrito12
Anyone know how many people from Questbridge were admitted to Huntsman?
