UPenn ED Class of 2022 Discussion

ughhh im shook ;(

25% are legacies? excuse me?

lol coincidentally, the source code thing i saw last night i was right! i got deferred haha

Hii can you guys PLSSS include your stats -act/sat and gpa- with your accepted/rejected decisions ! I’d REALLY appreciate it

I just got deferred. I was pretty bummed out about it. But I think whoever got accepted from my deferral was more happy to get accepted than I am sad to get deferred. The total happiness of the world increased. So, whatever.

Good luck to everyone who got accepted and to the brilliant people who got rejected. Getting in or the rejection does not mean anything. God opens several doors for you if he closes one!

A friend got into LSM!

@vaselineeee this is ED of course there are going to be a ton of legacies admitted. 16% of the applicants and 25% of the admits were legacies. So the legacy admit rate was about 28-29%.

The non-athlete, non-legcy acceptance rate seems to be around 14%. (Assuming about 200 athletes).

Accepted CAS from MN

@bweebler Yea I was accepted!!!

deferred :frowning:
are you guys submitting an update? if so, what are you including?

congratulations to everyone that got in! Glad the hardwork paid off :slight_smile: And to everyone who didnt,the hard work will pay off soon!

@lovetennis00 same here. gotta get through finals first ugh

From 22% to 18.5% are you kidding me

@Jennyrose

Rejected (VIPER and CAS) - SAT: 1460 GPA 4.0

any questbridge finalists here?

Deferred from Wharton, 36 ACT, 3.9/4.5 GPA. Sucks, but looking forward to having more options!! Maybe I’ll just stay in California and go to a UC. And maybe I’ll get in Wharton RD. I’m just happy many of you all got to experience some post-acceptance craziness! Congrats everyone

Yes I was a questbridge finalist!

sigh

Deferred from SEAS. Really sucks, but still have a chance in RD. Really want to know how many people deferred by Penn.

Is the acceptance rate for deferred applicants a little bit higher than normal RD?
