UPenn ED Class of 2023

Me @antontupai fingers crossed!

damn my Illinois, no legacy, no first-generation college self is SOBBING from this article

Hey guys! I am an admit to upenns class of 2021 and I took a 2-year GAP year. I’ll be a member of the class of 23. Does anyone have the link to the Facebook group? Good luck to everyone. Whatever happens, you’ll be fine, trust me.

Anyone from CT?

Cali gang, let’s go!! 4 hours and 30 minutes now!!

@bd2001 yes, if you already complete your FA application.

After school, I’m going to play Smash for an hour until results come out. If I get in, anyone who gets in and has smash should play with me

When less than 36 got accepted from Illinois :/. I’m probably going to try to distract myself, but in the end, I’ll probably end up staring at the clock for a super long time. Good luck to everyone here though. Looking at this page instead of paying attention all day has been fun, and I wish the best for all of you!

MA has many elite private high schools, which traditionally send many to Penn every year. For example, Andover, Groton, Deerfield, Milton etc. This make it even harder for those in public schools.

Wonderful, I’m in public school

@cooolcooolcoool - You took a 2 year gap year? I would be interested to hear more about that. My daughter has a fantastic 2 year opportunity but she has been thinking she’d need to decline acceptances and reapply, which does not sound appealing right now. Penn approved a two year gap? And you’ll be entering as a first year student? Fill us in on the details?

Any fellow illinoisans feeling bogged down by the numbers released on page 217?

Floridian over here not feeling too good about only 52 being accepted

The main question is what are the eight states which no one got in from.

Soooo many people apply to Penn from NY so 137 accepted is making me very nervous!

@12345hii at least florida was on the list lmao

just over 2 and a half hours omg

The Dec 1 article said 6,746 students applied. Today’s article says 7,110. Whatever may be the statistics, good luck to all. You have all done your best and future is bright and full of adventure for yall! Best wishes!

I’m not nervous at all. Just like how I’m totally not refreshing this thread every five minutes.

@AggieMom68 I do believe the higher number includes those who applied through QuestBridge !!
