UPenn ED Class of 2023

@cinderh thats awesome! Which country are you in? Is it a skype interview?

My D had a Skype interview today, and she feels like she bombed it and ruined her chances. I told her that what’s done is done and she can at least say she was 100% herself, regardless. She’s pretty bummed though.

@alargegiraffe Thanks!! I’m in China, and it’s an in-person interview. So nervous alreadyy!

@milgymfam aw I hope she feels better soon… It really is difficult to ace an interview, especially one like this /:

@cinderh I’m also in China! I’m gonna have a Skype interview! XD

It was her fourth interview and the only one she didn’t feel good about, which is a shame but not the end of the world. She talked politics, which is something past interviewers have broached themselves, and it bit her in the butt this time. She’ll know to never bring it up again unless they do. She did bring it up in answering a question honestly and sincerely, so to me it’s not as bad as she thinks, but who knows.

Hey everyone! I applied ED for CAS but haven’t recieved any notification about an interview yet. Kind of freaking out because another kid at my school was already asked to interview.

Don’t worry about it! Interview or no interview, stay confident! Whatever alumni are available in your area will contact you! The Penn website says that interviews are conducted from mid-October to early December, I believe.
I also applied ED for CAS. Good work for submitting the application, everyone! Fingers crossed!!

@cinderh ohhh that’s cool! All the best, I’m sure it’ll go great

How long did your interviews last?

My Ds interview was around 40 mins.

Anyone got a huntsman interview? any tips?

Thank God, I got an interview! So excitedddd

Mine was really casual and chill! Just sincerely talk about the things that you’re passionate in and you’ll be fine!

Which country are you applying from?

Anyone else not get an interview invitation yet?

My DS has not been contacted yet either.

Yeah, I haven’t gotten an interview offer yet. Will it hurt me if I don’t?

If we don’t get contacted for an interview before nov 15, is it safe to say we wont be getting one for the early round?

I think they are really short on alumni this year because I had a virtual interview with someone from Texas, and I live in the Northeast! I believe that they are offering interviews until the end of November and it will not harm your application if you are not offered one.

For those who applied for financial aid, do you see “Submitted” or “Downloaded” under Application Status in CSS?
