UPenn ED Class of 2023

Where did you check your financial aid status?

in the css website @pizzalover123

Hi! I applied ED to UPenn in the college for International Relations! My interview is scheduled for this Wednesday.

I still haven’t got an interview invite, I am from India. Has anyone from India got an interview mail.

Are decisions out on the 10th Dec?

@jackthealmighty Where did you hear that?

I haven’t received an interview call yet either. Will it be OK to call the Upenn admissions office and ask about it?

Probably not… penn’s website specifically says applicants cannot request interviews

@ss2023 I think you can call and ask about when Penn will be offering interviews up until, but I would not explicitly request an interview because like @danaschoolsky mentioned, applicants can’t request interviews.

Interviews will be offered through Nov 30th. Nov 21st is the deadline for in-person interviews; Nov 30th is the deadline for virtual interviews as a last-round push.

I just got a likely letter !!! Wharton Class of 2023! I just got my letter in the mail, I’m shaking so much rn.

I thought likely letters were only sent out during the regular decision round?

hmm… even in the regular decision round, i thought likely letters were only given to the nursing school applicants. wbravo99, when did you apply? Also what state are you in?

@wbravo99 did you interview already?

What’s the point of likely letters during ED? @wbravo99 did you apply ED?

Congrats@wbravo99. Super exciting, I have never heard of likely letters in ED. My DS received a likely letter from a school he applied to as a non-binding EA (for athletic recruitment) but he has not heard anything from his ED, Penn. He has not been contacted for an interview.

be wary of posters that have just opened a CC account. This seems suspicious if the poster applied ED.

ED likely letters are for recruited athletes

i feel like @wbravo99 is just messing with us…

"WHAT IS A LIKELY LETTER?

A Likely letter is an early notification for talented students who have applied to Penn in the Regular Decision cycle. This year, around 250 students will be offered a Likely letter on March 7th, which means that they will be notified that if they continue their current level of academic and scholastic achievement and good-standing, they will be officially admitted to Penn’s Class of 2017 on March 28th, 2013. These students may be from a particular geographical region, or a specific school or program, but they are all exceptional applicants—Likely letters are Penn’s way of letting these applicants know how special we think they are, and how much we would like them to join our campus community.
