PLEASE :)

oh! forgot to mention... i'm in some serious need of some more match schools. i'm thinking of applying to u rochester, gannon, robert morris and gettysburg, but i'm not sure. suggestions?

you have total grade inflation in the fact that your AP scores dont correspond to your class grade..
but i think your ACT score definitely makes up for your weak SAT score

thanks for the reply!

grade inflation kills me.. especially since i actually thought i knew what was going on... but whatever, there are plenty of should haves to go along with my chances and i can't change it now.

What school in Penn are you applying to?

if you sent in the ACT you should be fine, if not, then yeah taht's not good. i'd say in with the ACT, but with a reservation or two.

chance back?

These schools don't say it but they all weigh the SAT more than the ACT.
I think your chances aren't so hot at any of these schools- somewhat because of the AP scores, your 2's will make these colleges think that 'grade inflation' is in play and they will weigh your GPA less.
Definitely get in some match/safety schools!!
You may thrive more and have a better social life at a lesser school, so don't fret.
The top schools aren't cut out for everyone.

my school basically does the same thing where we add 10% to all AP's and honors except we only go to 100%. Basically, colleges have no idea of our real grades because they don't show up on our transcripts.

I think UPenn is reach but not too high unless you're applying to Wharton.

@ Mondo- your completely wrong about the weight on the SAT and ACT. They equally weight both buddy...

I'm applying to the college of arts and sciences. Thank God I don't want to go for business because I would never get into wharton.. haha

Mondo: the reason i put those schools up for chances is basically because i know they're reaches, i just don't know how much of a reach/if i really really really have my sights set too high. any suggestions for matches?

I guess matches could be Tulane, Boston University, yeah I guess Rochester, maybe Emory, maybe George Washington.

thanks for the suggestions. i've been off and on considering BU, but i might as well go for it...
