Stellar Recommendations from UIUC Professor, Multivariable Calculus Teacher, French Teacher

Your chances are good. To be honest, you’re one of the most qualified applicants I’ve seen. However, remember it is competitive and not exactly a shoo in. Are you applying for Wharton? The acceptance rate for that tends to be lower a bit. Do well on your essays and show interest in the school. Good luck!

I’m applying for the school of arts and sciences. I want to major in Computer Science and maybe economics as well

and Thanks for your reply :D

You’re qualified (for any school in the country BTW).
In the case of Penn 90% or more the qualified candidates are rejected.

What other colleges do you think I could apply ED (I know i can only apply to one, im just asking what other colleges you guys think i should consider for my early app)

I think you’re in since this is one of the most complete applications I’ve seen. If you got rejected I would honestly be surprised.

What are my chances at Columbia, Yale, Harvard ED as well?

Easily in.

Uh, isn’t C&IS at Penn in SEAS not CAS?

It confuses me that you are targeting Penn ED and don’t know that…

If you don’t want an engineering school experience, you might consider another college (although Penn has multiple colleges so the whole campus is not geeky). However, with your stats, I’d suggest the M&T program which is both SEAS and Wharton:

<a href=“Home - Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology”>Home - Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology;

Very impressive for many reasons - if money is at all an issue, I’m sure many schools would give you a free ride (but not Ivies unless you have financial need). I’d think you could almost get a decent internship out of high school with that resume…

Do well in your essays and you will have a great chance of getting into some of the schools on your list.

rhandco, im not too sure on my major so i havent really looked into the specifics. but are there any other schools you’d recommend with my resume?
