UPenn eligible

<p>Hi guys! I was just wondering if I would at least have a chance at Upenn through early decision even with my low gpa.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.93W; My freshman and sophomore gpas were not good, but my junior year gpa was around a 4.6/5.0.
SAT I: 2330(800 Math, 770 CR, 750 Writing)
SATII: 800 Math I and Math II, 780 Physics
Senior Year schedule:
AP Lit IV
AP Macroeconomics
AP Physics C
AP Calculus
AP Prob. and Stat.
AP Spanish
EC's:
FBLA: member for 4 years, and hold an officer position( I've made it to states in Banking and Financial systems and Marketing)
MADE: member for four years, volunteered for 50+ hours and hold an officer position
Economics Club: member for three years, hold an officer position (won awards)
I was able to compete in creative business idea competition and was a semi-finalist.
ASHA for education: member for three years
National Honor Society member
Volunteered at local hospital for fifty plus hours
Received an internship over the summer
Took a Rutgers marketing class over the summer and got an A
Also I played a unique indian drum for the last three years
Volunteered at local temple for twenty plus hours
Worked at Cold Stone for the past two years
Played Rec. basketball this year</p>

<p>I was thinking about applying to Upenn early decision and then NYU early decision II. If you guys can chance me, that would be great.</p>

<p>You certainly have a chance. Assuming you go to a somewhat competitive high school, a 3.93 is no cause for concern. If everyone else applying from your school has 4.5s or whatever, it might be a problem. At my school, for example, a 3.93 is a bit below the avg accepted GPA to Penn, but it would not be a problem. Look at your school’s naviance for a better idea of where you stand.</p>
