Hey y’all! Any Huntsman applicants here? Just wanted to know other students who are applying as well.
Yup! Just applied and super anxious. Hope all goes well for you!
Let’s hope the both of us get in!
I’m applying through RD! (Would’ve done ED but finances )
Good luck!
Thank you so much! Good luck for RD!
Yes! I applied ED to Huntsman also. What target language did you select?
I have a Q: If I selected that I would like to be considered ED for my second choice school, is it possible to be deferred from Huntsman and accepted into CAS?
Yes, if you selected CAS as your second choice school, you could be accepted ED to CAS but not Huntsman.
I looked it up and it says that if you are deferred by Huntsman you cannot be accepted by CAS in the early round, only regular decision. However, if Huntsman rejects you, you could get accepted by CAS ED.
Where did you find that?
From Huntsman FAQs-
"Can an applicant apply early decision to the Huntsman Program?
Yes. An applicant can apply ED to the Huntsman Program. Applicants can also apply concurrently to the single-degree option during Early Decision, or defer their single-degree option to Regular Decision."
So, if you opted to apply ED to Huntsman and your single-choice major, you can either be -Accepted to Huntsman -Rejected from Huntsman and accepted into CAS or Wharton -Deferred and accepted to single choice -Waitlisted/rejected after deferral
Thank you for the response!
I selected korean i’m korean american!
Nice! I chose Spanish
Has anyone received any feedback so far? Maybe even an interview invitation?
I had my interview a month ago
Have you applied Early Decision? How long did it take them to answer?
Ya I applied ED and had my interview around 2 or 3 weeks after the deadline. Did you apply ED?
No, I’m an RD applicant. I want to decide once I’ve got all the offers for RD which uni suits me best. However, UPenn with Huntsman is my clear favourite. Do you know when they contact RD applicants? (I’m an international applicant from Europe, by the way)
You have to apply first before you can get an interview
