Recommendations:
Stellar Recommendations from UIUC Professor, Multivariable Calculus Teacher, French Teacher

Are those the only schools you are applying to? You are a heavily qualified student. I don’t know what your financial situation is but you should definitely apply to at least all the ivy leagues and see who gives you the best financial aid package. Also, what are you looking for in a college? You seem like you know you want to be involved in some type of computer science. Do you want a strictly hardcore engineering school experience or do you want a diverse college experience? Seems to mean it’s really up to you on what you want…

^ He’s only asking about one thing. I think you misread M&T. He’s asking about Penn’s Jerome Fisher Management and Technology program. It’s a Wharton business and Penn engineering dual degree, perhaps the most exclusive undergrad program in the world. OP, you are obviously highly qualified for M&T (or anything else you might pursue). Doesn’t mean you will get in. They reject many applicants just as qualified as you. No one can tell you anything different.

I want to do the M&T Program but my backup is the SEAS. I would love to major in computer science but in my high school, the average weighted GPA accepted was 4.57 and the average unweighted was about 3.89. These stats really got me nervous and I was wondering if you guys had an opinion on whether or not my extracurriculars made up for them.

You are very extremely competitive. If you apply early decision you would have a great shot. I would be very surprised if you did not get into SEAS if you get rejected from M&T. The awards for Math and Computing are very impressive.

I had a b in biology and a b in precalculus and a b in ap computer science which is really ironic cuz those are my strongest subjects. I was wondering if the fact that those were my b’s will affect my chances at seas in specific.
