<p>I'm applying to UPenn's School of Nursing, and I would like to see how I size up with other applicants.</p>
<p>Objectively:
GPA - 3.81 unweighted, 3.9 something weighted
ACT - 34 (SAT is 2140 highest score, 2140 super score)
Class rank - top 25 percent'ish (school is #70 on US News/World Reports (#2 in math and science for open enrollment schools)
Previous AP/honors - Chem H (10), AP Bio, Chinese 4 H, PreCalc H (11)
Senior Year courses - AP Gov, AP Econ, Physics H, AP Calc BC, Chamber Orchestra, TA
leadership - captain on bible quizzing team, pen spinning forum leader (organized international projects)
community service - 150+ hours at hospital since sophomore year, 80 hours at summer school for special education kids, couple hundred teaching sunday school at church
honors/awards - national merit scholar commended thing</p>
<p>I know my essays should be stellar, but can they be average and still get me in as long as I show enthusiasm for Penn, or do I need absolutely perfect essays to get in?</p>
