<p>I’m actually kind of relieved there are fewer pages in this thread as compared to last year’s transfer thread…seems like there’s less competition! yay!</p>
<p>Does anyone know anything about sophomore vs. junior transfer admissions? Do they have a set number of spots for juniors and a set number of spots for transfers or do they just have a number for transfer students they’re willing to admit?</p>

<p>I’m not positive, but it was my understanding that they accept substantially more sophomores than juniors. At the very least, this is true for Wharton. </p>
<p>On an unrelated note, are we gonna have a separate “official decisions” thread with the fancy formatting or just announce in here?</p>

<p>i probably don’t stand a chance because i already transferred once from a mediocre UC to UC Berkeley…but i’m applying to Penn as a junior anyway…i started out really well in high school then late junior year to senior year was a s**tshow…had a lot on my plate…rehab and stuff. but i’m focused now and i have a combine 3.914 GPA. one of my profs who wrote my letter of rec got her masters from penn and is decently well known in her field, which is the same field i’m applying for…i dunno. i’d be the happiest person in the world if i got into penn…</p>

<p>HS GPA: 3.6 ish, outside US</p>
<p>College: Second Tier Business School
Major: Econ, CS. Minor: Math
College GPA: 3.96 (fairly hard classes)

ECs: I have a couple, including and interesting intership right now. Not an officer in any</p>
<p>I also emailed them about the PennPortal password and they said they’ll start processing out applications the 31st.</p>
