Congratulations! It gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the transfer class entering in September 2007. The members of this year's transfer class were chosen by a very personal selection process during which admissions officers and faculty reviewed over 2,000 applications in search of individuals whose abilities and talents would enrich the undergraduate experience at the University.

As we invite you to become a part of the Penn tradition, we encourage you to explore the ways in which you could make your own unique contribution to this distinguished heritage of academic excellence, social leadership, and cultural advancement. A distinguished faculty, nationally recognized academic departments, and opportunities for combined graduate and undergraduate study, in addition to an extensive program of social and cultural activities, combine to make this campus a lively and challenging environment in which to pursue your chosen course of study.

The packet of information you receive will answer many of your questions and we urge you to read it carefully. A preliminary evaluation of your transfer credit will be available within three weeks. You will be able to access this information online through this website. If you applied for financial aid, and submitted all of your required documents by the due dates, an evaluation will be mailed to you starting mid-May and will also be available on the decision website by following the PPOL link after logging in. Although you need not reply until you receive this information, I recommend you send the reply card and deposit as soon as possible since this will enhance your housing opportunities on campus.

Also keep in mind, if you are currently enrolled in a college or university, that this approval has been granted with the understanding that your spring term record will show evidence of the same high quality of work that your previous record has shown. Be certain to have your Registrar's Office forward us an official copy of your final grades as soon as they become available.

On behalf of the Penn community and the Admissions staff, I would like to congratulate you warmly on your excellent scholastic and personal achievements. If there are questions with which we might be helpful, or if you have not yet visited the campus and would like to do so, please do not hesitate to let us assist you. We are looking forward to seeing you in September.

Sincerely,

Willis J. Stetson, Jr.
Dean of Admissions

has anyone tried to call penn whose decision is not online yet?

what happens when y ou click sign in? Does it automatically show you the letter? Or, do you have to click one more time "show decision " or somethign?

are these all engineering responses ? anyone from the college yet?

My decision came today for Wharton. I have my reasons why I think I wasn't granted admission, being an applicant into junior year was one of those reasons. Definitely, definitely happy I applied though :)

when did u hear?
