<p>I recently applied for the University of Pennsylvania's Early Exploration Program, a fly-in visit program for URMs. I was just wondering if anyone has received admissions notification yet, as I have not and I am worried sick! Penn is my first choice and I would LOVE to spend the night on campus, chat with alumni, etc...</p>

It is worrisome as it seems to suggest what I expected: that Penn will be very hot this year.
Can anyone who got in share their stats or what they think made a diff?

<p>I was rejected as well, but at least they offered a free gift bag! BTW I’m an affluent Chinese-American, which is probably why I wasn’t admitted. I think this program is more targeted towards lower-income URMs. Oh well! I’m still applying to Penn RD.</p>
<p>@myyalieboy I was rejected but I have a 2390 single sitting SAT score and 3.93 GPA. Also, I’m a National AP Scholar+National Merit Semifinalist from California. </p>

<p>@aprieto43 That’s my unweighted GPA, on a 4.0 scale. My school strangely doesn’t calculate weighted GPA. Also @meggy2414 I haven’t gotten my gift bag yet either!!! I was actually looking forward to it!</p>
