UPenn premed or fast track medical at another college?

I'm liking UPenn.
I'm a Questbridge college Prep scholar, and UPenn is always sending me papers and information that they're impressed with my qualifications and they think I'd enrich their community.

I love Philly too...I feel I'd fit in there. Apparently the science research at UPenn is great (please correct me if I'm wrong or add info for my sake). I plan on going to med school, but here's where my dilemma is.

Is it better to go to a top university and have a good chance at medical school, or do an accelerated medical program at an OKAY college and have a place secured for you in med school? Better for the sake of med school and job opportunities. Because if the former is better, I want to to ED to UPenn in the fall of 2010.

If the latter is better, then I think I'll do RD to UPenn and wait for my options from those fast track med programs.

And any info from UPenn students about the university research would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Fast Track programs are better for your future, $$$, and career. However, there isn’t much point if you’re going to cry yourself to sleep dreaming of the life you’d have at Penn every night in Stony Brook or Villanova. College is supposed to be “the best years of your life” after all. But if you don’t mind that stuff, then fast track is the way to go.
