Whats the main difference between Penn Economics and the Wharton school?

the main difference? with penn econ, you graduate with a bachelor of ARTS degree in economics. with wharton, you graduate with a bachelor of SCIENCE degree in economics as well, but with a concentration in finance or accounting or management, etc.

i'd also say that graduating from wharton is more prestigious than graduating from upenn sas. i don't, but a lot of people think upenn isn't as good as HYPS, but they can't say anything about wharton, since it is the #1 undergraduate business program in the world.

as for job placement, you can get the same jobs wharton grads do, but it'll just be a little bit more difficult.

Interesting, is there a large disparity between the acceptance rates?

SAS and wharton are both highly selective, but wharton is obviously more selective. they accept fewer students and fewer students apply.

oh I see, thx for the info forgiven.
