UPenn question

Chanman, aren't you the one at Ross? Or was that Chaman or that guy with the similar name?

The thing is, you can change, but at a competitive Ivy, more than one term is more than likely to be needed unless you've done A LOT in the time between when you first applied, to now.

I'm just confirming that only 2 essays are required, the common app one and the why penn one. the third one is optional.

Yes?

^yes, the third one is optional

Yes, I just looked at the commonapp and it seems as if the third question is optional. However, THEIR online application makes that third essay manadatory.. gah! why is penn so inconsistent...

^just print off the online app and send it, that's what i am doing. there's no way i will have time to write a third essay

im like.. trying to throw something together right now.. but if i knew from the beginning they took commonapp, i wouldve just done commonapp. i also paid the app fee on their online application

btw, newby:

"Do not print a HTML or PDF version of the data from your online application and mail it to Penn. We are unable to accept applications in this manner."

Man, if the competition was just going to be a bunch of you kids throwing crap together at the last minute, maybe I should've applied for fun. :D

I actually didn't want to apply anymore, but I already submitted Part I of the application with the fee... so I don't want it to go to waste, lol.

haha it's so hard to let go...I did that for Gtown and Cornell and it feels great.

Jimmy, you saved me
