<p>I live in California. This will be my first semester @ a CC. Im looking for tips. What should I do for the next two years so I can get into Penn? I know its going to be really difficult for me to get in but it wont hurt to try. Im trying to get into an Honors club, how many clubs should I join anyway? thanks.</p>
<p>They'll definitely look at your SAT scores. Try to keep a 4.0 GPA and some community service wont hurt. It's not the quantity of however many clubs you are in but your involvement with the clubs. Being the President of a club thats very involved with the campus and community service will be much better then listing 10 different clubs that you aren't as involved in. You should look into PTK and AGS and definitely join the honors program at your CC. Also check out UPENN's transfer requirements so you don't take any classes that won't help you.</p>
<p>this is good for me. I wanted to know how AGS actually LOOKED on the applications for out of states. since it's just a ccc honor society, does anyone know if it holds any significance?</p>
