So I’m banking on people not applying to the right school? Lolol I’m definitely screwed ahhaha. My credentials were pretty low for EDers I guess. I got screwed over by the send all tests policy
@MijoChbulkan lol we are all screwed together. If you’re not the right fit oh well. We will all do great things. I’m the one with a 31 thinking I gotta chance ):
@MijoChbulkan I know someone who just ignored the all tests policy and only sent his best score on the ACT. The schools clearly haven’t found out, but does it help him significantly that something will happen if/when the schools do find out?
Technically you don’t have to send all your acts I thought? Lol I didn’t send all mine. Think I sent 2 to show my improvement
@bjones1782 well Penn specifically said on their website that you have to, but not all schools require it.
Score Choice: Penn requires applicants to submit their entire testing history; we do not participate in Score Choice. If applicants have taken both the SAT and the ACT, they must submit their testing history from both exams.
@bjones1782 it clearly says on Penn’s website that you’re supposed to send all…
but at the same time, I feel like it won’t make or break their decision on admitting a student or not?
I sent my 2120 and 2150 even though my ACT was 35 and it ended up not hurting my application (not enough at least)
I never took sat just act. I’m sure they got my full score report though
@bjones1782 I also got a 31 so I get it
And I got deferred
@MijoChbulkan well I hope you get in RD I am no good at standardized tests so if that’s what makes them deny me than I could care less! I’m thankful for the opportunities that have already been presented to me and I’m sure you have some too!
@bjones1782 good luck to you too, buddy. I’m cheering for you
I had some garbage SAT subject tests, and I still sent them. I have 34 on the ACT and a 2210 on the SAT so I guess the higher scores helped me but the lower scores didn’t hurt me. I got a likely letter so I guess it didn’t matter that much, but it is nursing so it could be different from other majors
I’m praying for all of you and wish you luck!!
I don’t even care about the result at this point. I just want to know. All this waiting is getting old
did anyone get a likely to wharton?
@nfhd11214367p0i someone called admissions and only nursing (and athletes) received likely letters
Has anyone who applied to CAS received a likely letter yet?
[NEED HELP] I submitted FAFSA to all my schools (including penn) w/ my parents’ 2015 Tax return data by hand-enter (didn’t linked to IRS cuz it was not available yet when I did it).
Do you guys think I should re submit my FAFSA w/ linking to IRS to all my schools again NOW? Would it be better thing to do?
NOTE: No schools have yet contacted me to do so.
@HelloEveryone27 Just call up the FA office and ask. I’m sure it wouldn’t bother them too much because it’s just a yes or no question.
Not necessary, if they have concerns, you will be contacted.
Hey guys! I have pretty low stats for the ivy’s but I got a likely letter from brown. I just wanted to get involved in this thread lol
I applied to Wharton
Hi friends!! I applied ED to LSM/CAS and got deferred. Don’t know why I didn’t stumble upon this thread earlier lol
